Our student Ethan Oleson visited Tanzania during his research for the Master’s thesis with the topic “Generation of a high-quality physiographic map as a base for nature conservation and land planning”. He stayed in the village of Kidia on the slopes of the Mount Kilimanjaro, outside of Moshi. Ethan went there to gather data for his map, and to work directly with Andreas Hemp, his second supervisor from University of Bayreuth.
