Cartography M.Sc. students and alumni at the International Cartographic Conference in Washington, D.C.

This week, the 28th International Cartographic Conference takes place in Washington, D.C. The bi-annual conference of the International Cartographic Association (ICA) is a huge celebration of cartography with 450 presentations in 160 sessions. World-famous cartographers are presenting their work. Also six of our current and past students are participating.

Ieva Dobraja and Ekaterina Chubrikova (both 2nd intake) are presenting their PhD work. Alika Jensen (5th intake), Roar Engell, Laura Eichler and Maria Rühringer (all 6th intake) were selected as conference volunteers. Alika’s work is also presented in the International Cartographic Exhibition.
