Presentation of three master theses on 5.12.2014

On Friday, December 5, three of our students successfully completed their studies in the International Master of Cartography (2nd intake) by presenting their theses:

  • Alice Rühl: A Cartographic Approach to Spatio-temporal Data Visualization of Events in Visual Analytics Applications (together with PennState University, USA)
  • Ekaterina Chuprikova: An Assessment of the Solar Potential of Roofs within a Web-based Solar Cadastre (together with EURAC, Italy)
  • Anna Vetter: The automatic generalization of building polygons whilst maintaining the settlement structure – A case study based on the 1:50`000 Swiss National Map Series (together with SwissTopo and ESRI, Switzerland)
