Cartography M.Sc. will continue as Erasmus Mundus programme

We are happy to inform you that our international Master of Science programme in Cartography was successful again and has been selected for Erasmus+ by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency for EU co-funding. Out of 116 submitted applications, we are one of 38 successful joint master degrees in the “Erasmus Mundus” section.

This means that the programme will be supported by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme for five more years (2017-2022), allowing us to award 48 scholarships to the best applicants from all over the world for the intakes 2018, 2019 and 2020.

The evaluation of our application pointed out the excellence of  ‘jointness’ with respect to the design and structure of the academic programme. It was also highlighted that the implementation of the programme and the cooperation of the four universities will insure recognition of Europe as a cartographic centre of excellence.
