Map of Jakob Listabarth featured in the Atlas of Design Volume 5

The Atlas of Design is published by the North American Cartographic Information Society and includes some of the world’s most beautiful cartographic designs. Map makers are invited in a worldwide competition to submit their designs every two years. In 2020, over 450 maps have been submitted, and finally  31 maps have been selected by an expert panel to be featured in the 2020 edition of the atlas. We are very happy that the map The Lost Treasures of Isla del Coco of our Cartography MSc student Jakob Listabarth (9th intake) was selected as a 2020 finalist and the map is included in Volume 5 of the Atlas of Design.

Visit https://atlasofdesign.org/ for more information and to order your personal copy of the atlas.

Jakobs map has been very successful. Apart from the publication in the Atlas of Design, Jakob also won the Ravensteinpreis and the Monochrome Mapping Competition.

Congratulations, Jakob!
