Goodbye Munich! Welcome to Vienna!

The 13th intake of our Cartography students has finished the first semester at TU Munich. It is now time to move a new university and start the second semester at TU Vienna.

The semester in Munich passed very quickly and students and staff have been very busy over the last few months. The students listened to many lectures, worked on exciting projects, organized social activities and took exams. The students have attended many lectures, worked on exciting projects, organized social activities and sat exams. At the farewell event, students and staff were all a little emotional, but also excited about what will happen next semester in Vienna.

During the closing ceremony, the students were asked how they experienced the first semester and what professional and personal skills they developed the most. The first semester is always a big challenge, so many new things: a new city and country, a new university, a new teahing style, new friends, a lot of administration and a lot of new cartographic knowledge. The students can be very proud of what they have learned and achieved. Well done!

The new semester at TU Vienna awaits with exciting lectures and guest lectures as well as interesting projects!  The welcome day began with a fabulous guided tour of the city.

We wish everyone a great and successful second semester!
